Seabird crews had some
exciting activities this year with crews going to the movies, ball
games, dinners, breakfasts and other field trips and social events. In
October, everyone enjoyed the annual Halloween Party at Montville farm.
The entire farm was appropriately decorated and everyone enjoyed holiday
treats. The annual Holiday party was held at Puffins Restaurant in early
December with all crews invited to stop in and party. Great food and
music made for a memorable event. Those who attended the Riverview Horse
and Garden Show last summer were treated to a company picnic with staff,
parents, Board members and friends invited. Groups gathered together to
visit and relax on a beautiful day at the farm in Uncasville.
The annual
celebration breakfast at the Seamen’s Inne in Mystic in June was a
great success honoring pre-1984 alumni program participants and new
graduates alike. Many long time Seabird participants were excited to be
honored that day.
